What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving that I got a Memphis fix this past weekend with the beautiful Hathaways!  For a little anniversary weekend, they headed to music city and we met up with them Saturday to check out Yazoo and Sunday for the Titans game.  I love Steph because she always keeps me laughing :)  Let's just put it this way, we have a similar sense of humor...

I'm loving these rumors that John Gruden is headed to UT!  These past football years have been rough in vol country, and while I'm never pro "fire the coach if your not winning", a new spark of energy in the big orange needed.  It doesn't hurt that his wife is a UT alum too!

Have you been to Old Navy lately?  Probably not.  I don't know what inspired me to check out their fall collection, but I'm glad I did.  Check out these cute sweater dresses.  Old Navy seems to have significantly stepped up their quality, and while it's no Nordstrom, sometimes you need a fun $20-$30 dress and these are a steal at that price.

I'm loving that we have officially entered holiday season in my book.  Christmas Village in Nashville next weekend, Thanksgiving just around the corner and shopping, parties and planning bring a smile to my face.

I'm loving that the L'Oreal plant I worked at after college in Little Rock, AR was featured on Sunday Morning this past week.  Bill Clinton visited the site to congratulate them for all of their efforts in decreasing CO2 emissions and basically saving the world.  They are truly a world class organization and I couldn't be prouder to say, I used to work there!

And lastly, I'm loving these pinables to get you through the rest of the week!

What are you loving on this chilly fall day?

Bye, Bye, T-Shirt Stains!

I'm SOOOO excited to share my latest pinterest SUCCESS!

Kiss gross yellow pit t-shirt stains goodbye!

*******I am not usually a measure-er, but I will try for my explanation below.

What you need: Hydrogen Peroxide, Baking Soda and Dawn

1.  Mix 1/2 a cup of baking soda with 1/2 a cup of Hydrogen Peroxide.

2.  Add about 2 tablespoons of Dawn.

3.  You want the consistency to be close to a paste, so add baking soda for a thicker consistency.

4.  Scrub paste into stain.

5.  Let it soak for about an hour.

6. Launder as usual

7.  Marvel at the results!

I used this little concoction on the stove and to get tape marks off the stainless steel refrigerator too.  I've read it can be used for shower cleaning, so that's next on my list to try.

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Welcome back for one of my fav posts.....

I'm loving so many things right now!

Let's start off with a funny story, I'm loving being stalked by papa-paparazzi :)  JK and I perused Oktoberfest this weekend in Germantown and after running in to a few of our friends, we stopped for a second to do a little people watching.  I spotted a photog behind a tree and said "Act cool, I think we are being photographed", needless to say , we did not act cool, JK instantly searched for the camera, and I went with the ole trusty hand on the hip pose while the Tennessean photographer snapped away....
Julie Newman and Justin Kinsland enjoy Oktoberfest in the Germantown neighborhood Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012.
Bahahahaha we got a good laugh from this classic photo, oh yeah, it made their website too lol.  Glad I got my highlights updated Friday ;)

I'm loving the beautiful fall weather and cooler temps.

I'm loving that the Titans surprisingly won last week and we got to see it in person!  Titan UP!

I'm loving my WHITE teeth!  I tried ZOOM whitening yesterday and it worked wonders.  My teeth were a little sensitive last night, but it was so worth it.  I have wanted to try it for years, but it is pretty pricey, so when a groupon appeared a week after my birthday, it was the perfect opportunity to try it out, and I'm loving the results.

I'm loving all of the great events supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month.  From the Titans to Race for the Cure, it's easy to get involved and make a difference.  Did you notice both Michelle and Ann were sporting pink last night at the debate?

I'm loving that I have a hot date tonight with a fabulous bestie from Memphis!  Can't wait to see you tonight, Sarah!

Oh yeah, and Nashville is on again tonight!  I'm hooked :)

What are you loving today?

Multiphoto Instagrams

Ever wonder how people create the multi-photo instagrams like this
Cheekwood in Nashville

or this?

me too....Thank goodness for google!  There are several apps, but the free one I downloaded was Simply CollageStitch.  I have also heard good things about Diptic and Pic Stitch.  Now I can only upload several pics to FB at once and only clog your news feed with one artsy pic :)
