Nashville Junior League, Become a Member

This year, I am a new member of the Nashville Junior League.  I joined to find a new way to volunteer in the community, find out more about my beloved city, and meeting a few new girlfriends is an added bonus!  It's time for new member sessions again, and you are welcome to attend.

The Junior League of Nashville is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League of Nashville reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism.  The Nashville chapter was founded in 1922.

A few of the organizations we partner with are the Oasis Center of Nashville, the Nashville Children's Theatre, and the Monroe Children's hospital at Vanderbilt.  In addition to supporting local charities, we host several events like Kids in the Kitchen through our local chapter.

New Member Information Sessions
Coming to a New Member Information session with a prospective sponsor provides information about the League, our mission, our work in the community and the responsibilities of membership.  New Member Information Sessions are on the following dates and times:

At the New Member Information Session, prospective members will receive their application and sponsor form. If a prospective member does not have a sponsor, the Admissions Committee will do everything possible to obtain a sponsor for the prospective member.

Find out more information about becoming a new member here.

If you have any questions, feel free to leave a message or email me, my new member experience has been wonderful, and I'm happy to share more about it.
